The name "Urban Eden Community" reflects our vision of creating a space for community within the heart of the city. "Urban" signifies our location, rooted in the dynamic, ever-evolving urban landscape. "Eden" symbolizes a haven of connection, growth, and transformation—an oasis where individuals can thrive and find support amidst the urban hustle. Together, "Urban Eden Community" represents a collective effort to foster a nurturing, inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to flourish and contribute to the well-being of our community.

About Our Founders

Serge and Kristy Da Rosa founded Urban Eden Cmty, a ministry rooted in community, established in faith and passionate about recovery.

As a family of six with a grandchild, they know how important it is to have a support system that encourages and uplifts us through our journey.

They have also experienced firsthand the difficulties of addiction and recovery, which is why they make it their mission to create a healthy community for all to thrive in their walk with Christ.

OK Clean Start is a program committed to eliminating hygiene poverty in our rehabs by providing necessary resources to ensure that individuals can maintain their dignity and well-being during their treatment process.
Everyone deserves access to basic hygiene essentials,
including those in substance use treatment.

Our Approach:

Hygiene Kits: We provide essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products.
Local Partnerships: Raising awareness by working with local businesses, community organizations, and donors to secure a steady supply of hygiene products, ensuring consistent inventory and wider reach.
Community Support: We invite public donations and involvement through drives and fundraisers to raise awareness and gather resources, making hygiene care a shared effort

Our Impact:

Access to hygiene products is a basic right that supports health, well-being, and dignity. More than half of who enter treatment come with nothing- no bedding, no towels and no way to cleanse themselves. By addressing Hygiene Poverty, we not only improve the health and wellness for those in treatment but also their recovery experience leading to higher program completions. Our approach ensures everyone has the essentials needed for a healthy recovery. This creates a supportive space where everyone can focus on their recovery without worrying about hygiene

Supplying recovery books to Oklahoma's rehabs

We are thrilled to announce a collaborative effort between Urban Eden Pages of Hope Program and World Book Bank to supply free AA books to Oklahoma rehabs. Each client will receive their own copy to keep, ensuring they have access to this essential resource throughout their recovery journey.

It provides invaluable guidance on the surrender process and the steps toward healing. For those in recovery, the book serves as both a roadmap and a source of inspiration.

Through our partnership with World Book Bank, we are able to provide this critical resource to individuals in treatment at no cost. By offering these books, we aim to empower clients with the knowledge and support they need to navigate their recovery journey successfully.

Beyond Day with Sean, Kylie & UEC

When we learned Sean and Kylie Henderson were passing through Tulsa, we immediately opened our home and hearts. Even before their arrival, a playful trail of rubber ducks hinted at the extraordinary experience to come. And extraordinary it was. Words feel inadequate to capture the depth of the heavenly exchange that unfolded. 🤯 We shared laughter that echoed, tears that flowed, and stories that intertwined. We were deeply inspired by the work of God through a remarkable minister in our region, witnessing firsthand the generational impact of his love. We experienced moments that transcended the ordinary, like becoming the "center of the universe," where sound took on a mystical resonance, and trains pass by as we peer down from a celestial vantage point at its carts filled with treasures, each cart revealing a new wonder. We even shared in the beauty of creation as pigeons took flight and fish swam below our feet. 💫 The evening culminated in a gathering of beloved family and friends, all basking in the radiant goodness of God, as the Spirit painted a profound picture of joker cards, coins, a dance and a circus. It was, quite simply, glorious... You could even say it was "Wonka". Time seemed to bend and stretch, a single day feeling like a week – a glimpse of the mystical rhythm of Gods Kingdom.

Giving To Our Communities

We took the opportunity to drop off a BIG blessing of necessities to the Community House Rehab residents, who were overjoyed! Then stayed for the NA meeting that we ended up chairing 😁. The vibe of the house was much different this time. While we witnessed residents processing deep emotions on an earlier event we also saw the hope and intense desire to not give in. We make room for these moments. We are grateful to be a part of that safe space, providing what insight we can with compassion. Thank you to everyone that gave items. This is Good Fruit! Uncapped with Eunike Jonathan

Urban Eden Cmty was blessed to have Eunike Jonathan visit us from California. We shared meals as a community together, a visit to She Brews Coffee Roasters and tons of time chatting throughout about God's goodness and all things kingdom. Eunike poured into our close-knit community at our event "Uncapped", and it was transformative. We ended the night around a campfire, sharing the things God was highlighting in our lives, praying for each other, prophesying to one another, and opening our hearts freely.

OKC Recovery Community

We love the recovery community in OKC, Ok. We have been taking random trips to love on the recovery community as the opportunities present themselves. Thanks to all who have given toiletries, blankets, pillows, backpacks and more to help our brothers and sisters in the process of stepping into their freedom.
